The authors Born in the village of Busu in Uganda, Denis Kigongo is a youth worker and teacher working in the UK He specialises in using African activities like games, music and story-telling with young people in youth clubs and schools. He owns and runs a company called experience Africa. He also organises and travels with groups from the UK back to his home country to give people a more real experience of life in Africa. Alan Dearling is a youth worker and full time writer and researcher, specialising in producing materials on youth work, social welfare and social change. For this project he has collected a range of materials based on experiences in Zambia.
